Cabernet Malbec
Wine
Higher Plane Cabernet Malbec blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec with small portions of Merlot and Petit Verdot, all organically grown at Karridale in Margaret River.
During open fermentation, the juice is hand plunged to prevent over extraction of flavours and tannins from the grape skins. Depending on the variety, the juice spends 6-21 days on skins. The wine then matures in French oak barrels, one quarter new.
Deep red purple, Higher Plane Cabernet Malbec is medium bodied with blue and red berry flavours and silky texture. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
